Database Design

Point of Sale Program

The Pat’s Pizza Point of Sale program is an example of a software system I designed for a final exam that combined HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL skills. In this exam I recreated a demonstrated program that included concepts such as exception handling, classes, objects, inheritance, PHP built in functions, user defined functions, and relational database concepts. I also was able to practice working with FTP using FileZilla and space on a hosted web server provided by the college.

MS Access

Microsoft Access projects gave me the opportunity to practice database fundamentals. I worked with normalization, relationships, keys, SQL queries, entity-relationship models, and some database administration concepts.
